Executive Overview
Healthy individuals are part of what makes up a healthy ecosystem. People who take the time to tune into their health needs are more likely to notice, and care about, the health of the broader environment within which they work. Articles such as “Management Essentials: Savvy Insights” from Harvard Business Review, 09 February 2010, give a variety of different sources that confirm this thinking.
Encouraging self-care among your staff does not have to be costly or complicated. Promoting self-care is a sound investment. Feelings of stress, dissatisfaction and exhaustion are contagious. By acknowledging and encouraging self-care practices, your employees are more likely to maintain their health, require fewer sick days, remain loyal to the company and create quality work.
This 12 module self-care programme promotes your staff’s individual well being by changing their behaviour and thought processes which in turn, will change the behaviour and thought processes of the employees around them; this ensures a healthier more productive company.
In order for each individual to reap the benefits of the workshops attendance of the full programme is necessary.
The business owner benefits from attending one-on-one sessions with Colleen Jack for the duration of The Collective of Possibilities to keep abreast of the shifting perspective of the group as it grows into the gained understanding and self-insights the course offers.
Individuals may want to explore in-depth personal insights gained in the workshops one-on-one with Colleen, and are able to book additional coaching sessions. These sessions integrate learning and accelerate the progress of delegates who have been identified by management as having leadership potential.

9Th Module: Emotional Intelligence
Keynote Facilitator: Colleen Jack
Presentation Overview: Using Carl Steiner’s pioneering work we start to explore personal power. Power is generally thought of as control, mainly people and money. We emulate powerful people in the belief that in the real world, emotions are best kept under tight rein. But the sort of personal power derived from the security of satisfying relationships and fruitful work is ultimately incompatible with a tight rein on our emotions. Emotional Intelligence requires that our emotions be listened to and expressed in a productive way. Delegates gain a practical understanding of core components of Emotional Intelligence: self-awareness, self-management and social/relationship awareness.

10Th Module: Emotional Literacy

They show an improved client understanding and are better able to build sustainable and effective relationships. Internal relationships are better understood and improved – productivity increases. They are able to understand causes of conflict from within themselves and others leading to improved conflict resolution skills.

11Th Module: Review, Reflect
Keynote Facilitator: Colleen Jack
Presentation Overview: In the first stages of the workshops delegates have had time to review experiences of growing up in childhood or merely reacting to external stimulation. This transition of taking ownership of life events, in having a forum to re-telling, re-naming and then re-framing events, enables an extremely liberating ownership of one's future placed in the hands of the individual concerned. Delegates come to conclusions from these experiences and start to plan their next steps, thus beginning the process from the start, but this time from a much deeper level having cleared the backlog of unexamined thinking and limited self belief.

12Th Module: Rainbow Spiral, integrating the myriad of possibilities
Keynote Facilitator: Colleen Jack
Presentation Overview: A final celebration of an adventure, integrating the myriad of possibilities. Through a rainbow spiral dyeing process delegates deepen the understanding of Self while having heaps of fun. Let loose their inner child so that the outer adult can function more effectively. While the making employs fine motor skills we engage delegates on a cerebral level as they concentrate on the methodology. Colour talks to them on a spiritual level. The creation process helps to embody personal development and growth. They get an experience of trusting the process and first impressions don’t always count. This will be a tangible experience of learning to grow with the flow and by letting go they can fall in love with life.
Time required: 5 hours
Cost per Workshop: On Enquiry
Equipment cost and items to be dyed by each delegate are not included in the cost of the workshop. The item to be dyed will be supplied by The Pattern Works fulfilling your specific requirements.
This ends the 12 module process. Future maintenance sessions are held every three months on an ongoing basis in a group coaching forum. This maintains the team's level of performance.
