Friends for Life is a development organization set up in The Netherlands with 2 local offices in Kenya, Kwale District, Coast Province.
Our goal is to improve the position and income situation of especially girls and women by facilitating scholarships and to provide micro credits.

Our main goal is to support girls and women in Kenya in such a way that they can escape from poverty.

This is done by giving micro credits agains the lowest possible rates and by facilitating scholarships. Besides this we advice/ train the various women.

The members talked about are the amount of women having micro credits (december 2010)

The Friends for Life Women Group (FFLWG) is a registered community based organization in Kwale District, Coast Province, Kenya by the Ministry of Culture and Social Services. It was started by the Friends for Life Women Group in the year 2004 to uplift the standard of the unemployed women. Any woman above 18 years of age within Kwale District can join.

Objectives:
- To make accessible funds where members can borrow to service their small business.
- Improve financial status of the members by creating jobs and income opportunities for the unemployed/ poor.
- Linking groups to financiers for funding.
