MYente

This week Yvette and I had a meeting with WEConnect International. WEConnect is a great initiative and very useful for MYente members as it connects women enterprises to the corporate sector. Many companies, and countries, have policies on diversification of their supplier base and this includes getting more female suppliers. Apparently these are not easy to find which is why many big companies decided to become a member of WEConnect. WEConnect itself is a non profit organisation.

You as a women entrepreneur can register for free at WEConnect and be part of their database! It is meant for small and medium sized enterprises (starting from 1 employee). The initiative is quite new, so when you register now you will be one of the first and attract attention.

Corporates not only go through the database to find suppliers, but they also organise trainings and meetings where you can meet companies and your fellow suppliers. We think it is a great opportunity!
